Surrounded by faces like question marks. Wondering why you’ve come, or where you’ll be going. Stuck in a moment you cannot escape. Full of the questions that make you feel more lost rather than get you somewhere.
Are you unable to express just that itty bitty feeling no one else knows?
If you’ve found this site, which is now and always: yours truly — I choose to believe it was for a reason. Not because “everything happens for a reason”, or that time somehow put me in your way since “given enough time, everything will happen to everyone of us”.
I’m not saying these pieces of wisdom aren’t true, I’m just more interested in getting to know your version of the story.
So if there’s one thing I’d love to stay with you from this corner of the internet…
Please read this:
“You too are loved.”
I’m not saying I know you, or that these words mean something to everyone. I try not to lie, but I also try to do something else.
And if I say some big iconic words with bold text inside quotation marks that are —just as big…
It’s because I choose to believe.
Now, maybe not all of my words will have big quotation marks, a big bold font or have a place to be shared at all. But maybe like some of you out there, at some point I thought to myself:
What if I was, am, “The Quiet Kid” ?
Three words that cut deep.
I can’t help but feel strongly. You — quiet kids of the world — Mr. Wallflowers, geeks, nerds, diary keepers, black sheep of the class, forgotten faces, forbidden voices,…
I want to hear you.
I want you to know that if this website exists at all, it’s because of you. Thanks to you being [true to] yourself every day. You’ve given me hopes to connect in this world.
If it weren’t for every one of your lowly smiles about to break open like an atom bomb — I would not be here.
I may not have the ‘requisite knowledge’, or be ‘politically correct’. But once again:
I choose to believe.
So, for you who has stuck ’till the end of my corny intro, I hope you can find something helpful within these pages; and for anyone else who happened to scroll all the way down…
